1. Who we are
Bitizenship Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN 202412813R), registered office at 160 Robinson Road, #14-04, Singapore 068914, operates this website and is the data controller for personal data collected through it. You can reach us at hi@bitizenship.com.
2. Data we collect
When you register, your name and email address are collected through our webinar platform, WebinarJam. We also collect limited analytics data (such as device, approximate location, and on-site actions) via the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (described in “Cookies & tracking” below) which on this website loads only after you accept cookies.
3. How we use your data
We use your name and email address to:
- Send you the webinar access link and calendar details
- Send the webinar recording after the event
- Subscribe you to Alessandro Palombo's newsletter (delivered via Substack)
- Subscribe you to the Bitizenship newsletter
We use Pixel analytics, where consented, to measure registrations and improve our advertising. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Legal bases
For visitors in the EEA/UK, we rely on your consent for the newsletters and for analytics/advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interest in delivering the webinar you requested and securing our website. You may withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights”).
5. Service providers & international transfers
We share data with providers that process it on our behalf: WebinarJam (registration and webinar hosting), Substack (Alessandro Palombo's newsletter), the Bitizenship newsletter system, Meta (advertising pixel), and Vercel (website hosting). Each has its own privacy policy. As we operate from Singapore and some providers are based in the United States, your data may be transferred outside the EEA/UK under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention
Your email is retained for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, which removes you from future communications.
8. Your rights
Under the EU/UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Singapore residents have comparable rights under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). To exercise any of these, email hi@bitizenship.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
